RHS SERVICES: Rain Tanks & Rain Barrels
Smaller Rainwater Tanks:
RHS can install premium quality 50 to 10,000 gallon rainwater tanks with high reliability in performance. Tanks above 1,000 gallon storage capacity are great for fire protection around your home. All tanks used meet the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) standards for portable water use. This series of smaller size tanks, as pictured above, are manufactured with strict quality guidelines to ensure years of high-performance use. Rugged, impact-resistant, one-piece seamless polyethylene construction make our tanks suitable for all your water storage needs. These tanks are manufactured using resins that meet FDA specifications to ensure safe storage of potable water.
Doorway Rainwater Tanks:
We also carry ‘doorway rainwater tanks’ to fit into those tight places between the side yard of your home. These tanks have been specifically designed with the residential and commercial applications in mind. The dimensions of these tanks allow them to fit through a conventional doorway and install in virtually any small space.
Below Ground Rainwater Tanks:
If installing your rainwater tank below ground is the only option, then we have a tank for you. All our underground cistern tanks are manufactured by means of a rotational molding process, which produces a one-piece, seamless, watertight tank. Polyethylene is unaffected by soil chemicals, meaning that the tanks will not rust or corrode and require no additional coatings like corrugated steel tanks do.
These underground cisterns are produced with 100% virgin resin which meets FDA specification for potable water. Where applicable, Norwesco’s cisterns have been certified under ANSI/NSF Standard 61.

Large Rainwater Tanks:
If your rainwater collection needs exceed 10,000 gallons, then you may consider our line of corrugated galvanized steel water tanks (also available down to 1,000 gallon size). They can be used for a variety of applications including drinking water, fire protection, irrigation, municipalities and wastewater treatment.
Based on a century old, time-tested concept in tank design and construction, corrugated galvanized steel water tanks are hand riveted to provide watertight, durable, quality storage tanks. The factory applied interior coatings permanently adhere to the steel, NSF and FDA certified coatings are available for potable water storage applications. Galvanized steel water tanks may require anchoring to an adequate concrete pad depending on job size, location and local code specifications.
Rain Harvestings Systems corrugated galvanized steel water tanks are backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty against material or workmanship defects that can cause leakage or corrosion.
When considering the options in customized systems to store water, RHS also offers a long-term, structurally strong and watertight solution. Fiberglass tanks are taking their place in many neighborhoods and communities as a major supplier of storage tanks for potable water, fire-protection water, irrigation water, gray water, rain water, stormwater and emergency-supply water. |
